By renting from Contrast you agree to the following terms. These Terms & Conditions summarize our operating procedures,
but in all cases the signed Rental Contract governs and supersedes all agreements between you (“Renter”) and Contrast Cine / Contrast Visuals Inc. (“Contrast”).

Hours of Operation
We’re open Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. Service outside of these hours is not guaranteed unless arranged in advance, and may incur after hours service fees.
We can arrange after hours pickup and dropoff upon request with a verified account and rental on file.

Rental Periods & Rates

• Minimum rental period: 1 day (24 hours)

• Weekly rate (3–7 days): 3x the daily rate.

• Cancellations under 24 hours before pickup: 50% of order total.

Pickup & Return

• Pickup: 1pm–5pm the day before your shoot.

• Return: 9–10am the day after your last shoot day.

• Late returns after 10am incur extra day rates or late fees.

Payment
Payment is due upon invoice receipt and no later than 10 days after return. Net 30 terms are available only with approved credit applications and a voided check with a verified bank checking account on file. Late invoices may be charged automatically to the payment method on file.

Responsibility & Testing
Renters must prep, test, and verify all gear before leaving Contrast premises. Gear is rented “as is” without warranty. Renter assumes full responsibility for chosen equipment and its proper use.

Loss, Damage, & Insurance
Renter assumes all risk of loss or damage from any cause, including transit. Proof of insurance (COI) is required before pickup, naming Contrast as “Additional Insured” and “Loss Payee.” Insurance minimums: $1,000,000 liability, $1,000,000 property including general liability, rented equipment, and auto. Special coverages apply to foreign, aircraft, and watercraft use.

Service & Repairs
If equipment is returned damaged or malfunctioning, Contrast determines necessary service and costs. Renters are liable for repair or replacement at full market/replacement value plus any loss-of-use charges.

Shipping & Delivery
Renter pays all shipping costs. Contrast is not liable for delays or complications. Delivery services may be available in Nashville for a fee.

Ownership & Use
Gear remains property of Contrast and must only be used by qualified technicians, for lawful purposes, and within agreed project scope. Subleasing or loaning gear is prohibited without prior written consent.

Indemnity & Liability
Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Contrast from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the use or operation of rented gear. Contrast is not liable for lost footage, media errors, or consequential damages.

Consent to SMS
By providing your mobile number in your rental agreement or inquiry form, you consent to receive SMS messages from Contrast Cine related to your rental order (e.g., confirmations, scheduling, urgent updates). We will never text customers with marketing content or deals. Only order related business.

Message frequency will vary depending on your rental activity.

Message & data rates may apply.

Opt-Out
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After doing so, you’ll receive no further texts from us.

Availability
Text messaging may not be available on all carriers. Delivery depends on your wireless provider.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes will be resolved in Tennessee courts.

Entire Agreement
These Terms, in addition to your fully signed and executed rental contract, form the entire agreement between you and Contrast. Any changes must be in writing and signed by both parties.
